I reached out to Tutor Doctor for my daughter, and her school performance has improved a lot. They are super professional. From the initial consultation to the tutoring sessions, their services are top-notch. They really understand what each student requires in a tutor. I totally recommend them.

The tutor was fantastic, but the administration was a nightmare—totally unresponsive and even engaged in some shady practices to dodge refunds and outstanding credits. We're gearing up for legal action, that's for sure.

The owner, Joel Vance, made a bunch of promises that he totally didn’t follow through on. I hired them to assist my son with Algebra 2, and he assured me that my kid would be all set for his test and would pass. Well, my son ended up failing! He claimed he would provide weekly progress updates, but I never got even one! When I brought up these issues with him, he just made excuses and wouldn’t do a thing to fix the problem. I forked out $3,000 for absolutely nothing! He was dishonest about everything! Seriously, don’t put your trust in him. Look for another company; this one is a total scam.

Tutor Doctor has really made a difference for us. My 9-year-old daughter switched schools, systems, and even countries during the Pandemic, which took a toll on her academic performance. The online learning setup also didn’t help her understanding of reading, writing, and math. I was concerned that she lacked a solid foundation in the basics, so I was thrilled to find Tutor Doctor. Since she started with them, her confidence has soared, and most importantly, she’s really happy with her tutor. She’s actually enjoying the learning process. Selina is super patient and pays close attention to detail, taking the time to meet with both the child and family at the start, and she does a fantastic job pairing the student with the right tutor.
